Vrtba Garden

Vrtbovská zahrada (Vrtba Garden) is nestled on the steep slopes of Prague’s Lesser Town, and is one of the city’s most exquisite Baroque gardens and a true hidden gem. Located on Tržiště Street, right next to the U.S. Embassy at Schönborn Palace, this terraced oasis was created in the early 18th century and dazzles with its elegant layout, intricate sculptures, vibrant flower beds, and sweeping views over Prague’s rooftops.

Designed in the Italian style by prominent architects and sculptors, it’s a masterpiece of Baroque garden art and a peaceful oasis away from the city’s bustle.
